Charles tenney

Prior to founding The Tenney Group, Charles Tenney owned a limousine business, a courier company and the first airport share ride service in Dallas, TX. A former U.S. Army sergeant, he went on to earn  a degree in marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington.

With more than 40 years’ experience in consulting and facilitating business sales and acquisitions exclusively in the transportation industry, Charles brings his expertise to the table for each and every client. In the chauffeured transportation segment of the industry, Charles Tenney has facilitated more business sales than anyone in the world.

On a personal note, Charles is a Harley rider and has visited almost every Texas county courthouse on his motorcycle (more than 245). Charles and his wife Tina have been married for more than 40 years and are the proud grandparents of three wonderful grandchildren.

Spencer Tenney
Managing partner

Prior to joining The Tenney Group in 2002, Spencer worked as a consultant in the medical staffing industry and owned a music publishing company. He earned his degree in Communication from the University of Texas in Austin, and currently holds the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) through the International Business Brokers Association. He is also the only Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor in North America that is dedicated exclusively to the transportation industry.

Spencer has helped Tenney Group close more than 50 transportation business sales across the United States. Considered an industry expert, his articles have been published in Transport Topics, National Bus Trader, Limousine Charter & Tour and other magazines. He is a sought-after speaker at national trade shows. He is also the author of the e-book "5 Keys to Maximizing Your Transportation Business Sale," available for download here.

On a personal note, Spencer and his wife Lauren reside outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. He enjoys songwriting and is actively involved in the Hope Clinic, a faith-based organization that equips women, men, and families to make healthy choices regarding unplanned pregnancies, depression, & addictions.
